Salaried GP – Maternity CoverGP Practice
Whitstable Medical Practice is seeking an enthusiastic Salaried GP to join our friendly and supportive team on a 12-month fixed-term contract to provide maternity cover.
The successful candidate will deliver high-quality, patient-centred general medical services, managing a broad range of health needs within a primary care setting while ensuring the highest standards of clinical care.
This post is based at Chestfield Medical Centre and comprises six clinical sessions per week. We are looking for a GP who is available to commence the role in January 2027.
This is a list-bearing, clinically focused GMS role, with excellent multidisciplinary support to help you deliver safe and effective patient care. You will work alongside a highly skilled team, including a dedicated paramedic home visiting service, Older Persons Practitioners, Advanced Nurse Practitioners, Clinical Pharmacists, Social Prescribers and dedicated prescribing and data entry teams.

Whitstable Medical Practice is a large, dynamic practice serving a growing population of more than 45,500 patients in the Whitstable area. We offer a diverse clinical scope that extends beyond traditional general practice, with a wide range of specialist services and clinics.
We are a training practice, helping develop the next generation of GPs and healthcare professionals, and an active research practice working with the National Institute for Health and Care Research (NIHR)
We are looking for a GP who is:

The role consists of:
- Pre triaged 15 min Face-to-face consultations
- Dedicated built in admin time for reviewing self-generated results and admin
- Built in breaks for coffee and lunch
- Flexibility on sessions and start times.
