Job summary
We are a friendly, enthusiastic, successful, well organised GMS training Practice seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Healthcare assistant who shares our commitment to delivering high-quality services to our patients. You would join our long-established nursing team, led by a supportive Practice Nurse Mentor who is motivated to provide a high standard of care in the most effective and efficient way with great emphasis on up-to-date guidelines and standards. Ideally, we require a fully trained Healthcare assistant, however, full training will be provided for the right candidate. This is a part-time position working 15-20 hours a week with the opportunity for career development.
Main duties of the job
We require our Healthcare Assistant to provide core duties such as blood pressure monitoring, taking blood, ECG& holters, health checks, assisting with minor operations & coils, B12 & flu vaccinations, simple dressings, removal of sutures, INR/Warfarin , stocking Doctors rooms and checking fridge temperatures. Previous experience of EMIS would be an advantage. If you are new to the role, full training will be provided for the right candidate.
