Job summary

As a member of the Medical Division's Management Team, the Assistant Service Manager is responsible for ensuring the efficient and effective day-to-day running of select services within the Division and line managing designated staff. In conjunction with the Senior Operations Manager and the Associate Director of Operations, the Assistant Service Manager will identify strategic developments within the service and implement changes where agreed, ensuring the delivery of key quality, performance, and financial plans.

Supporting the Senior Operations Manager, the Assistant Service Manager will deliver the relevant Trust targets, standards, KPIs and contractual requirements, ensuring there is a robust performance management framework within the service.

The Assistant Service Manager will represent their services and the Division at internal and external meetings.
