The Princess Alexandra Hospital NHS Trust (PAHT) provides a full range of general acute, outpatient and diagnostic services at The Princess Alexandra Hospital in Harlow, the Herts and Essex Hospital in Bishops Stortford, and St Margarets Hospital in Epping. Our Community Diagnostic Centre (CDC) at the St Margarets site in Epping which offers further CT, X-ray, MRI and Ultrasound services. We employ 3,500 staff and serve a local population of around 350,000 people living in west Essex and east Hertfordshire, centred on the M11 corridor and the towns of Harlow, Bishops Stortford and Epping. Our extended catchment area incorporates a population of up to 500,000 and includes the areas of Hoddesdon, Cheshunt and Broxbourne in Hertfordshire.

Main duties of the job

We are seeking a motivated and compassionate Band 5 Radiographer to join our progressive and supportive Imaging Department. The post holder will contribute to the delivery of highquality diagnostic radiography services across a range of clinical areas, supporting a 24/7 imaging model (including weekends, nigh shifts and evenings). You will work across multiple modalities and locations, including: General Xray A&E / Trauma Imaging Mobile Radiography Theatres CT (with full training provided) Sites include: Princess Alexandra Hospital, Herts and Essex Hospital, and St Margarets Hospital. Comprehensive training will be provided in CT, including the preparation of patients for CT Colonography. Staff with a particular interest will have the opportunity to develop further in advanced CT imaging, including Cardiac CT.
