Band 5 Theatres, Scrub Nurses & ODPs - 1-Year Fixed-Term Maternity Cover We are looking for enthusiastic and dedicated Band 5 Nurses and Operating Department Practitioners (ODPs) to join our Theatre teams at Epsom and St Helier Hospitals on a 1-year fixed-term contract to cover maternity leave.

Main duties of the job

Provide skilled and effective assistance to clinicians and other members of the theatre team, contributing to the delivery of safe and high-quality patient care.

• Deliver support and care to the required professional and service standards, as directed by the clinical team.
• Provide support across relevant areas of the Trust where specialised equipment, procedures or techniques are required.
• Respond positively and effectively to planned and unplanned activities, including emergency situations, demonstrating flexibility and professionalism.
• Plan and organise work effectively in advance to ensure that operational requirements and deadlines are met.
• Maintain competency in two of the three designated theatre specialties and rotate between them to support service requirements, flexibility and staff development.
