ABOUT THE ROLE Your focus as Care Assistant will be to deliver high standards of personal care, contributing fully to the care team to ensure continuity of services to residents. Other responsibilities will include: Assisting residents in all their personal hygiene care ensuring optimum independence, dignity and respect of individuals at all times. Recognising and understanding clinical risk areas in residents such as weight loss, pressure sores, risk of falls, sign of infections and escalate any identified risks in a timely manner.

Main duties of the job

As a Care Assistant at Winchester Heights Care Home, your main role will be to deliver high standards of personal care, ensuring continuity of care services to residents. Responsibilities include assisting residents with personal hygiene, recognizing and understanding clinical risk areas, and acting courteously towards residents and their visitors. Experience in a similar role is not required as a thorough training program is provided, but you must be able to communicate effectively, demonstrate initiative, and be adaptive to various responsibilities at short notice. A DBS Disclosure check and proof of eligibility to work in the UK are required for the role.

Your focus as Care Assistant will be to deliver high standards of personal care, contributing fully to the care team to ensure continuity of services to residents.

Other responsibilities will include:

• Assisting residents in all their personal hygiene care ensuring optimum independence, dignity and respect of individuals at all times.
• Recognising and understanding clinical risk areas in residents such as weight loss, pressure sores, risk of falls, sign of infections and escalate any identified risks in a timely manner.
• Acting courteously towards residents and their visitors, respecting the dignity and individuality of each resident.
• Practicing safe systems of work across the range of task.
