West Coventry Academy is seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, creative, and committed Teacher of Science to join our successful and forward-thinking Science Department. This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate educator to inspire students and contribute to a thriving school community dedicated to excellence. We are looking for a talented Science teacher who:

Has a genuine passion for Science and can inspire curiosity and enthusiasm for the subject in students

Delivers engaging, high-quality lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4 (Key Stage 5 desirable)

Encourages students to develop scientific thinking, problem-solving skills, and a love of learning

Is committed to raising achievement and supporting all learners to reach their full potential

Works collaboratively within a supportive and ambitious department

What you'll need to succeed

Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent

Have strong subject knowledge and a passion for Science education

Be an excellent classroom practitioner with high expectations of behaviour and achievement

Demonstrate a commitment to inclusive education and student wellbeing

Be motivated, organised, and eager to contribute to wider school life
