Paget Primary School is looking to appoint a warm, welcoming and customer-centred Administration Assistant to join our friendly and supportive school team. As a key member of our school office, you will be a friendly and professional first point of contact for our pupils, families, staff and visitors. You will help to ensure that everyone who comes into contact with the school receives a positive, welcoming and caring experience. This is a varied role that will suit someone who is highly organised, approachable and calm under pressure, with excellent attention to detail and the ability to manage competing priorities in a busy school environment.
About the role
As an Administration Assistant, you will provide effective administrative support across the day-to-day running of the school. This will include:
Acting as a welcoming and professional first point of contact for pupils, families, staff and visitors.
Providing general administrative support to the school office and wider school team.
Managing purchase orders and supporting the school's purchasing processes.
Supporting the administration of medication in line with school procedures.
Maintaining accurate records and ensuring information is recorded and handled appropriately.
Responding to enquiries in a helpful, professional and timely manner.
Supporting the smooth day-to-day running of the school office.
Managing competing priorities and responding calmly to changing demands.
Working collaboratively with colleagues across the school.
