Job type: Part-time, Salaried GP Sessions: 2 sessions per week Salary: Competitive, dependent on experience Start date: To be agreed Join Our Friendly Practice Team! Beeches Medical Centre is seeking an enthusiastic, motivated and patient-focused Salaried GP to join our friendly and supportive team for two sessions per week. We are a small, established GP practice situated in the village of Longton, Preston, caring for approximately 2,100 patients. As a smaller practice, we pride ourselves on providing personalised care, maintaining continuity and building strong relationships with our patients. This is an excellent opportunity for a GP seeking a regular part-time position within a close-knit practice where continuity of care is valued. For those interested in a longer-term commitment, there may be an opportunity to explore future partnership. What We Can Offer • Two regular GP sessions per week. • Potential opportunity for future partnership. • NHS Pension Scheme. • Competitive salary dependent on experience. • A friendly and supportive practice team. • A small, established patient list. • A combination of face-to-face and telephone consultations. • EMIS Web clinical system. • Established administrative and clinical support. • Free on-site parking. • Opportunity to develop long-term relationships with patients and contribute to the future development of the practice. The Role The successful candidate will provide high-quality, patient-centred general medical services, working collaboratively with our existing clinical and administrative team. • Undertaking face-to-face and telephone consultations. • Assessing, diagnosing and managing acute and chronic conditions. • Prescribing safely and appropriately. • Reviewing investigation results and clinical correspondence. • Making referrals where clinically indicated. • Maintaining accurate and timely clinical records. • Contributing to the management of long-term conditions. An interest in women's health, including menopause care, contraception and supporting patients with sensitive health concerns, would be particularly welcomed. About You We are looking for a GP who: • Holds full GMC registration with a licence to practise. • Is included on the NHS England Medical Performers List. • Has the legal right to work in the UK. • Has a patient-centred approach to general practice. • Demonstrates excellent communication and interpersonal skills. • Works effectively both independently and as part of a team. • Is committed to delivering safe, high-quality clinical care. Experience using EMIS Web would be advantageous but is not essential.
