An exciting opportunity has become available for highly motivated and professional individuals to join the Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital as Patient Pathway Assistants within our Prosthetic Rehabilitation Unit and Orthotics Department.In this pivotal role, you will provide essential administrative and clerical support to two dynamic, multidisciplinary teams comprising Consultants, Therapists, Prosthetists, and Orthotists. Your contribution will help ensure the smooth delivery of patient care and operational excellence across both departments.

Successful candidates will be based in either the Orthotics Department or the Prosthetic Rehabilitation Unit, with a shared responsibility to support one another and maintain continuity of service at all times.

Liaising effectively with internal stakeholders to support clinical operations

Job description

This role will primarily be focussed on supporting the Clinical Team within Prosthetics and Orthotics.

Duties will include: printing and sending of correspondence, chasing results, cashing up clinics, managing the shared department inbox, fully utilising clinics, recording and validating activity on PAS systems, and liaising with internal stakeholders. Good understanding of the 18 weeks referral to treatment (RTT) standard and waiting list management experience is desirable.
