We are looking for a dynamicEmergency Nurse Practitioner to join our team on a fixed-term basis!

The Virtual Emergency Nurse Practitioner (ENP) provides advanced clinical assessment, diagnosis, and management of patients presenting with urgent and emergency conditions via telehealth platforms.

Working as part of a multidisciplinary emergency care team, the ENP delivers safe, effective, and timely care to patients remotely, supporting emergency departments, urgent care services, or virtual triage systems.This role requires strong clinical decision-making skills, the ability to manage risk remotely, and proficiency in digital consultation tools.

Afull valid driving license and access to a car to use regularly for business purposes is essential (unless you have a disability as defined by the Equality Act 2010)

Job description

• Provide direct access to patients seeking health care management and advice.
• Assess, diagnose, treat or refer patients with minor injuries and assess and direct illnesses as an autonomous practitioner.
• Promote and use evidence-based practice to provide clinically effective care.
• Be aware of other resources outside the service that may be used to supplement this information.
• Have a high standard of computer skills to enable correct data management
• Provide health promotion advice on an individual basis and encourage patient selfmanagement of health and well-being.
• Supply and administer medications that are approved under Patient Group Direction (PGD).
• Conduct remote clinical assessments using video, telephone, and digital triage systems
