Job summary

We are excited to offer a joint rotation between KMMH and DGT. Occupational Therapist's will have the opportunity to rotate between the Trusts to enable consolidation of University training in both mental and physical health. We feel this upskills staff to be more holistic in their practice.

This innovative opportunity includes the following rotations:

A&E,Community Crisis Mental Health Team,Respiratory,Gastroenterology,Endocrinology,Intensive Care,Hyper acute stroke and stroke rehabilitation,Orthopaedics,General Surgery,Inpatient and outpatient cardiac rehabilitation

This position will not be supported for visa sponsorship. All applicants are expected to have valid right to work document to work in the UK when applying for this position.

Main duties of the job

To provide clinical assessment and treatment for inpatients,

To support with a safe and effective discharge from hospital.

To actively engage in CPD activities offered such as: band 5 peer support group; team in-service training; preceptorship programme; specialist rotational competencies; clinical supervision.
