Job summary

A position has arisen for an enthusiastic and motivated experienced practice nurse. The ideal candidate will be registered with the NMC and ideally have experience working in a GP Practice.

Main duties of the job

Day to day practice nurse duties in a GP Surgery.

• Travel health advice and vaccinations
• Child immunisations and advice
• Family planning & womens health including cervical smears
• QOF: screening and helping patients to manage long term conditions
• Chronic Disease Management
• Obtaining blood samples
• Electrocardiograms (ECGs)
• Minor and complex wound management including leg ulcers

About us

We are an enthusiastic friendly practice with just under 6000 patients based in Bracebridge Heath, just outside Lincoln. We use SystmOne clinical system. The premises are modern, purpose built, well-equipped with a friendly working environment and a very supportive team.
