St Bartholomew's Hospital is building a vibrant, ambitious nursing and allied professional (NAP) research culture. We are committed to ensuring every NAP role includes research.We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Clinical Research Programme Facilitator/Fellow to support and coordinate our growing research-in-practice programme. This one-year fixed term role offers an excellent development opportunity for nurses, allied health professionals or healthcare scientists with an interest in research, evidence-based practice and clinicalacademic careers.

Main duties of the job

Working closely with the Interim Director of Clinical Research, you will help deliver key programmes including the Evidence Champion Network, international masterclass series and monthly research newsletter. You will support new initiatives that strengthen research awareness, capability and engagement across the NAP workforce, and act as a visible advocate for evidence-based practice in clinical areas. You will build strong multidisciplinary relationships, contribute to education and training, and support identification of areas whereresearch or evidence could improve patient outcomes and experience. Applicants with a PhD will have one day per week protected for contributing to departmental research-in-practice research activity and developing their own research.

You will bring:o Registration with NMC, HCPC or equivalento Master's degree in a relevant professional or research-related areao Experience engaging in research activity and delivering teaching or facilitationo Strong organisational, communication and relationship-building skillso Commitment to learning, inclusion and Trust values
