Job summary

You will contribute to a project relating to the SCN1A Horizons study and related studies on Dravetsyndrome working with Professor Andreas Brunklaus.The study involves detailed clinical and neuropsychological assessments of participants, examiningseizure burden, developmental trajectories, cognition, mental health comorbidities, and healtheconomic outcomes.

The post-holder will play a key role in the study team by conducting comprehensiveneuropsychological assessments of child and adult participants under the supervision of aConsultant Paediatric Neuropsychologist.The role is primarily based in London, with travel to other sites across London, the South East,Manchester and Glasgow as required.

The successful candidate will also contribute to the development and submission of researchpublications and grant proposals and will support the coordination and delivery of this complexand impactful project as opportunities arise.

Main duties of the job

The post-holder will be fulfilling an important role within the study team, carrying out detailed neuropsychological assessment of child participants under the supervision of an experienced Paediatric Neuropsychologist. They will work closely with a team of researchers across the UK, as well as a wider study team of paediatric consultants and psychologists.
