Job summary

We have an exciting opportunity for a motivated and organised Recruitment Team Leader to join our Recruitment Team at Humber Teaching NHS Foundation Trust.

This is a varied and rewarding role where you will play a key part in delivering a high-quality, responsive recruitment service to our candidates and recruiting managers. You will provide day-to-day guidance and support to our Senior Recruitment Assistants, act as a point of contact for more complex recruitment queries, and help us continually improve the experience we provide to candidates and managers.

Please note that this advertised vacancy does not meet the UKVI eligibility requirements for a Skilled Worker Visa and therefore HTFT would not be able to issue a Certificate of Sponsorship for this role.

Main duties of the job

• Provide advice, guidance and support to recruiting managers throughout the recruitment and selection process.
• Provide day-to-day guidance and support to Senior Recruitment Assistants
• Act as a first point of contact for more complex recruitment matters, including conflicting reference information, reckonable service queries and starting salary considerations.
• Support the effective management of Trac and help ensure recruitment KPIs and timescales are achieved.
• Work collaboratively with teams including Occupational Health, Payroll, Management Accounts and external providers
• Support recruitment activity in line with the NHS Employment Check Standards.
• Lead the Fit and Proper Person Test (FPPT) process for senior appointments across the organisation.
• Contribute to international recruitment activity, including supporting Certificate of Sponsorship and visa processes where required.
• Develop and deliver recruitment and selection training to colleagues and managers across the organisation.
• Support and deliver recruitment projects, with a particular focus on digital improvements and improving service efficiency.
• Maintain and improve recruitment process maps, guidance and "how-to" materials.
• Help ensure recruitment communications and templates remain accurate, consistent and compliant with relevant guidance.
