Job summary
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Senior Product Specialist to play a leading role in one of the most significant digital transformation programmes across health and care in Wales. This exciting opportunity will support the transition from an existing Mental Health and Community Electronic Patient Record (EPR) system to a replacement system.
Working as part of a multidisciplinary programme team, you will provide specialist product leadership throughout the design, implementation, deployment and ongoing optimisation of the new platform. You will work closely with clinicians, operational teams, digital specialists and national stakeholders to ensure the successful delivery of solutions that improve patient care and user experience.
This post is fixed term until 31/03/2028 due to funding
Main duties of the job
You will work with the programme team on the implementation and ongoing development of a new Mental Health and Community Electronic Patient Record (EPR) system, supporting one of the largest digital transformation programmes in Welsh healthcare. The role involves working closely with clinical, operational and digital teams to deliver system improvements, manage stakeholder relationships, provide expert product leadership, and ensure successful adoption of new technologies. The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
