Main duties of the job

The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering a comprehensive clinical photography service, producing high-quality images to support diagnosis, patient case records, education, research, and publication activities. The post holder will also play an active role in developing and enhancing the clinical photography service, working collaboratively with internal stakeholders and external commissioning partners to ensure the service continues to meet organisational and patient needs.

Job description

We are looking for someone who can. Deliver high-quality clinical photography to support diagnosis, patient care, education, research, and publication. Produce medically and legally accurate images using advanced photographic and digital imaging techniques. Obtain and document informed patient consent, ensuring ethical and professional standards are maintained. Select the most appropriate photographic techniques, equipment, and lighting to accurately capture clinical conditions. Lead quality improvement initiatives, service audits, and continuous enhancement projects. Support the implementation of new imaging technologies, techniques, and best practice standards.
