Job summary

Could you be the person who helps someone through one of the most challenging moments of their life? As a Community Mental Health Professional within the Crisis Resolution and Home Based Treatment Team, you'll play a vital role in supporting individuals experiencing acute mental health difficulties. Working as part of a multidisciplinary team, you'll provide timely, person-centred assessments, helping to identify needs, manage risk and develop effective care plans that support recovery and wellbeing.

Main duties of the job

This is a rewarding opportunity to make a difference every day. You'll build therapeutic relationships with individuals and their families, working collaboratively to provide intensive support in the community and helping people remain at home wherever possible as an alternative to inpatient admission. You'll also work closely with community services and inpatient teams to facilitate supported discharge and ensure people receive the right care at the right time. Housing Assistance is also available where the Department will pay the difference between your current mortgage/rent bill, and that of your new accommodation on the Isle of Man, up to a maximum of £250 per month.
