Are you an enthusiastic and motivated Dietitian looking to make a difference? Join PARALEL, an innovative rehabilitation, relapse prevention and alternative to admission service supporting adults with eating disorders across community and inpatient settings. As part of a developing multidisciplinary team, you will provide specialist dietetic support to help people maintain recovery and remain safely within their communities.

The role will include:

• Working with a high level of autonomy.
• Providing a specialist dietetic service to adults with complex eating disorders, including assessment, intervention and care planning.
• Developing, implementing and evaluating nutritional care plans to support recovery.
• Promoting optimal physical health, wellbeing and quality of life.
• Supporting relapse prevention and transitions from inpatient to community care.

The successful candidate will have a good understanding of dietetic practice, mental health and eating disorders, and be committed to delivering compassionate, recovery-focused care within a new and evolving service.

The role requires regular travel to service users' homes and community settings; therefore, access to suitable transport for work purposes is essential.

Main duties of the job

MAIN DUTIES OF THE JOB

The post holder will provide specialist dietetic input within the multidisciplinary team, supporting adults with eating disorders through assessment, intervention and care planning. Interventions will be delivered using recovery-focused approaches across community settings, including face-to-face, remote and home-based appointments. The role will also support service development, including the ongoing implementation of the admission avoidance pathway.
