Job summary
In this role, you will play a key part in patient recovery, supporting the assessment and delivery of tailored treatment plans while ensuring dignity, respect, and high standards of care.
Main duties of the job
- Provide high-quality occupational therapy assessments and interventions tailored to the individual needs of patients.
- Develop, implement and review person-centred treatment plans, supporting patients to achieve meaningful goals and improve daily functioning.
- Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team, contributing to assessments, care planning, risk management and clinical decision-making.
- Provide clinical leadership and support to junior occupational therapists, students and other members of the therapy team.
- Maintain accurate clinical records and ensure all practice is delivered in line with professional standards, Priory policies and best practice guidelines.

Salary £38,983- £46,882 depending on experience
Full Time/ 37.5 Hours
Priory Hospital Newbury, located Berkshire, is a level 2 rehabilitation service which supports male adults with mental health needs, who are working towards a life back in the community. We also provide an acute service, for local male and female patients who are in crisis and require a short admission for support.
We are well-placed to accept patients who need higher levels of care and intensive therapeutic support, as well as those stepping down in acuity.
