Job summary

An opportunity has arisen for an experienced, enthusiastic registered children's nurse to work within the Nottingham Children's Epilepsy Team.

The successful candidate will join a team of other specialist nurses caring for children with epilepsy. You will be hospital based with a responsibility to see children in inpatient and outpatient settings and to liaise with families at home.

Job description

To assist in the development and delivery of service provision which meets the needs of children and young people underspecialist care with complex paediatric epilepsies diagnosis and achieves associated national guidance/agendas.To participate in projects/activities which enhance patient pathways, reduces length of stay and unnecessary admissions andattendances to the Emergency Department and improves patient and families experience.To develop oneself as a nurse specialist to that of evidence based practitioner and innovator who provides quality, safe patientcare in line with national and international standards of excellence
