We are now welcoming applications from nurses to join our Older People's Mental Health Organic Inpatient Ward.

Student Nurse's that are due to register in the next 3 months are very welcome to apply. Full training and Preceptorship programme will be provided to help you build confidence and develop your career in this specialist area.

Wold View is an 18 bedded mixed sex assessment and treatment ward for older people with organic mental health needs . The ward actively encourages development & training opportunities and encourage the role within this progressing team on the delivery of Patient Centred Care, support for carers and evidence based practice, working in a whole systems approach with our partner agencies.

Main duties of the job

The successful postholder will improve the lives of older people with mental ill health by minimising the impact of their condition through the delivery of excellent services to promote recovery and well being.

You will be compassionate in meeting the needs of patients and their carers.

You will assess, plan, implement and evaluate the delivery of patient care as part of a multi-disciplinary team, show commitment to and participate in quality improvement activities, act as an advocate for the patients andpromote at all times a positive image of people with mental ill health.
