Job summary

We are looking for a compassionate, experienced, and motivated nurse to join our established Head and Neck Cancer Nursing Team.

This is an exciting opportunity to make a real difference to people affected by head and neck cancer, providing specialist advice, support, and advocacy from diagnosis through treatment, survivorship, and, where appropriate, palliative care.

You will act as a key worker, managing a caseload of patients, undertaking nurse-led clinics, coordinating care, and working closely with the multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality, personalised care. You will also contribute to service development and improvement, helping shape the future of our specialist nursing service.

We are looking for a nurse with experience in cancer services and an understanding of head and neck oncology. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential, alongside the ability to provide compassionate support and communicate complex or sensitive information with empathy and clarity.

As a Band 7 practitioner, you will provide clinical leadership, act as a positive role model, and uphold the Trust's CARE values. You will be autonomous, proactive, resilient, and committed to delivering excellent patient care and experience.
