Teacher of Woodwork, Cookery and Making - The Federation Primary SchoolsCouncil

Blenheim Road & Coed Eva Federations School 32.5 hours/week Main Pay Scale / Upper Pay Scale (depending on experience)
Posted 2 October 2026 Closing date 11 October 2026

A brand new role. A thriving federation. An opportunity to shape the future through our vision: growing thriving, successful learners, leading our people to excellence and changing our community and our country for the better.

We are seeking an exceptional Teacher of Woodwork, Cookery and Making to inspire curiosity, creativity and possibility across our primary school federation. This innovative role is focused on bringing learning to life through food, engineering, design, woodwork, making, creativity and real-world problem solving.

Whether you are an experienced teacher looking for a fresh challenge or an early-career secondary specialist with a passion for practical, hands-on learning, this role offers a unique opportunity to bridge the gap between what education looks like today and what our children will need for tomorrow.

We believe that children flourish when they are given opportunities to create, explore, build, design, experiment and wonder. Inspired by Early years Froebelian principles and driven through our whole-school STEAM project-based curriculum, we place immense value on learning through meaningful experiences that spark imagination, confidence and a lifelong love of learning.

If you believe that education should ignite curiosity, celebrate creativity and equip children with the skills to shape the future, we would love to hear from you. Watch our recent Froebel-inspired learning in action here: Froebel Trust | Froebelian Practice Across Primary School

This is where we are now. Our children are thriving through a rich and ambitious curriculum. Imagine where your expertise, passion and vision could take them next.
