Main duties of the job
This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role at the heart of U&EC, working alongside clinical and operational leaders to deliver high-quality services in a fast-paced and constantly evolving environment.
You will have the opportunity to:
- Be at the heart of operational delivery, supporting the day-to-day management, performance and continuous improvement of U & E C services.
- Work side by side with clinical and non-clinical teams to tackle challenges, improve patient pathways and ensure services remain safe, effective and patient focused.
- Lead and inspire a team of administrative colleagues, creating a positive, supportive and high-performing culture where people are encouraged to develop and succeed.
- Take responsibility for key workforce processes, including recruitment, retention, appraisal, objective setting, staff development and performance management.
- Turn ideas into improvements, contributing to service transformation and helping deliver Directorate, Divisional and Trust priorities.
- Build strong and effective partnerships across the Directorate, Division and wider Trust, as well as with external organisations and system partners.
- Use performance information and operational insight to identify opportunities, solve problems and support positive change.
