Kneesworth Hospital is looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated Occupational Therapist to join our team. This fixed-term role runs until August 2027 and offers an exciting opportunity to make a real difference as part of a supportive multidisciplinary team.

Main duties of the job

In this role, you will play a key part in patient recovery, supporting the assessment and delivery of tailored treatment plans while ensuring dignity, respect, and high standards of care.

  • Develop and deliver personalised occupational therapy treatment plans to support patient recovery and wellbeing.
  • Assess patient needs, deliver individual and group therapy, and maintain accurate clinical records.
  • Support, supervise and mentor junior members of the occupational therapy team.
  • Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team, ensuring high standards of care and compliance.
  • Promote occupational therapy services and contribute to the development of the local service.
  • Build strong relationships with patients, families and carers, ensuring effective communication throughout rehabilitation.
