Post No. POSN005373 - Supported Play Officer - Disabled Children’s Team
Do you believe every child should have the opportunity to play, belong and thrive?
We're looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated Supported Play Officer to help shape an exciting new service for Disabled children and young people in Newport. This is a unique opportunity to be involved from the very beginning, helping to develop a supported playscheme and inclusive play opportunities that build confidence, independence, friendships and fun.
If you're passionate about inclusion, committed to improving outcomes for children and young people, and excited by the opportunity to help create something new, we'd love to hear from you.
We have an exciting opportunity for a motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our Disabled Children’s Team as a Supported Play Officer, playing a key role in launching and developing a new supported playscheme and a range of exciting play opportunities for Disabled children and young people and those with Additional Learning Needs (ALN). This is a unique opportunity to help shape a growing service from the ground up, creating fun, inclusive and meaningful experiences that enable children and young people to build confidence, develop friendships, increase independence and enjoy opportunities that reflect their individual interests and abilities.
