Junior Clinical Fellow in PaediatricsNHS
Job summary
Duties include:
1. Participate in the full shift system covering 2 sites for paediatrics (neonatology excluded).
2. Participate in general paediatric ward rounds with the ward-based Consultant of the week.
3. Work within the team to provide ongoing high quality care for inpatients and seeing referrals in the Children's Observation and Assessment Unit (RBH), Children's Minor Illness Unit (BGH) or in the Emergency Department (RBH).
4. Attendance in paediatric clinics.
5. Educational clinics: community, tertiary visiting specialists.
6. Participation in teaching program and audit.
7. Achieving portfolio requirements including foundation competencies where needed
