Job summary

This exciting appointment is for a newly developed Consultant Psychiatrist (10 PAs) post working within the Herefordshire and Worcestershire CAMHS Learning Disability Service. The post-holder will provide a consistent and child centred provision into the CAMHS Learning Disability Service.

The post is substantive with 10PAs per week being offered. The service operates Monday to Friday, with working hours primarily between 9am and 5pm. There is an on call rota associated with this post.

The CAMHS LD service is a friendly, multi-disciplinary team that includes specialist LD/CAMHS clinicians, psychologists and medical colleagues.

The base for this position will be discussed and agreed at interview and could be anywhere across the two Counties including Hereford, Worcester, or Kidderminster.

It is essential you meet the Royal College of Psychiatrists' criteria for appointment to this post. Consideration will also be given to those applicants looking for flexibility with working arrangements.
