Contract Supervisor – Building Maintenance
We are seeking to appoint a Contract Supervisor – Building Maintenance on a full-time, permanent basis. The post holder will be responsible for monitoring and ensuring the effective performance of Building Maintenance Contractors across a range of contracts, frameworks, tenders, and work programmes. These workstreams encompass the Council’s housing stock, schools, corporate buildings, and other public assets. Working closely with Corporate Manager, Programme Managers, and the Council’s Procurement Team, and in accordance with the Council’s Standing Orders, the successful candidate will also support and oversee tendering and procurement activities for relevant contracts.
The Building Maintenance Service is a large, dynamic, and diverse operation within the Housing and Social Care Directorate. The service comprises multidisciplinary teams responsible for the maintenance, servicing, refurbishment, and major improvement of a wide range of assets, including council housing, educational facilities, public buildings, and a number of historic and unique properties across Pembrokeshire.
