Main duties of the job
To support the Oral Surgery and or Community Dental Service.
Oral Surgery:
- Set up for Oral surgery procedures including Biopsies, Botox injections and Wisdom tooth/teeth removals.
- Support patients and clinicians throughout.
- Provide post operative instructions to patients as directed.
Community Dental:
- To assist clinicians and patients with complex needs chairside.
- To book appointments, all aspects of support to patients and clinicians.
- To assist with General Anaesthetics at Hospital sites.

Job description
- To provide a high level of clinical care within the Northumbria Community Dental Service/Oral Surgery department, supporting the clinicians in all aspects of clinical practice and ensure the smooth facilitation of all dental/oral surgery clinics across Northumbria Healthcare Trust.
- To role model compassionate and inclusive leadership in order to shape the creation of a collective leadership culture within the trust.
