Job summary
This Band 6 Senior Systems Administrator role sits within Research and Innovation and supports the National Pathology Imaging Co-operative (NPIC), a pioneering programme accelerating the use of digital pathology and artificial intelligence. You will lead the management, development and continuous improvement of critical IT systems and Service Desk services, working closely with clinicians, technical teams, system suppliers and partners across a national network to deliver reliable, high-quality digital services.
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced, proactive and customer-focused IT professional who enjoys solving complex problems and leading others. We are looking for someone with strong technical expertise, excellent communication and leadership skills, and a commitment to continuous improvement, collaboration and innovation. - Strong experience of managing and supporting complex IT systems and infrastructure, particularly in the NHS environment.
