Job Title: Healthcare Assistant - Band 3 Department: Oncology Inpatients Location: Duchess of Devonshire Wing, 22 Devonshire Place, London, W1G 6JA Salary: £31,659 - £36,024 Hours: 37.5 Monday to Sunday - on rotation to cover days, nights and weekend Contract: Permanent Join our Oncology Inpatients team at The London Clinic and help care for patients with cancer. You will support patients during treatment and recovery, helping them feel comfortable, safe and cared for. You must have experience working as a Healthcare Assistant on an acute hospital ward, including caring for surgical patients. This is a Band 3 Healthcare Assistant position. What we are looking for:
- Experience working as a Healthcare Assistant on an acute hospital ward
- An NVQ Level 2 in Care or equivalent.
- Confidence in supporting patients with personal care and taking clinical observations within your training and competence.
- Clear communication skills and the ability to recognise when to seek support or report a concern.
- A compassionate approach and a commitment to protecting patients' dignity.
- The ability to organise your workload and work effectively as part of a team.

You will work with nurses, consultants and other healthcare professionals to support patients with cancer. As a Healthcare Assistant, you will spend time with patients every day. Getting to know them will help you understand what they need and notice when something changes. Your care and observations will be an important part of the team's work.
