We're currently looking for enthusiastic and organised individuals to join our team asMedical Secretaries, with opportunities available in the following areas:

Gastroenterology - permanent, 22.5 hours per weekRespiratory - permanent, 22.5 hours per weekOrthopaedics, fixed term until 31.03.27, 22.5 hours per week

Please indicate in the supporting information on your application form which position you are applying for. You will have medical typing qualifications and previous experience as a Medical Secretary. You will have excellent communication skills and be particularly caring and understanding. Experience in the use of Electronic Patient Record (EPR) system, and Digital Dictation, would be an advantage.

Main duties of the job

To manage the office administration of the Consultant and designated medical staff, and provide an efficient and effective secretarial service.

The post-holder acts as the first point of contact for all forms of communication for the Consultant and their team.

The post requires excellent organisational skills, medical audio typing, and a sound knowledge of medical terminology.

For Graduate visa holders; it is important to note that you must have a minimum of 12 months before this expires at the start of your employment for training and operational reasons.
