Job summary
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a conscientious and supportive administrator to join our busy and dedicated team based within the PICU at Roseberry Park, part time (30 hours).
Roseberry Park is an inpatient Adult Mental Health hospital providing services and delivering care to the Tees Valley area. This unit is situated on Marton Road, Middlesbrough and benefits from free on-site parking and is easily accessed by car, bus and bicycle.
As a member of the PICU Admin Team, you will work in an office at the centre of a ward. The office is an area of high activity, and no two days are the same. You must have the Right to Work in the UK in order to be successfully appointed to this role. Please note, this role does not meet the required eligibility criteria for sponsorship under the Skilled Worker visa and therefore the Trust is unable to offer sponsorship for this particular role.
Main duties of the job
Whilst having previous experience in an administrative role is essential, NHS or other health care experience is not. We are first and foremost looking for individuals with a passion for people, customer service experience, an interestin working in a health care setting and a 'can do' attitude.
The Ward Team Administrator role is pivotal in the day-to-day operations of the ward teams. As part of this role, you will work closely with the Nursing team, Consultants, Medics and the wider Roseberry Park teams to provide the best possible care to the service user(s).
We are looking for someone who is able to multitask in a busy environment, communicate confidently, prioritise their workload, meet deadlines and build strong working relationships with a variety of people.
