Are you looking for a rewarding role where no two days are the same? As a Leisure Assistant, you will play a vital part in supporting your community and helping Abergele Leisure Centre operate safely and efficiently.

Ffit Conwy is looking for an enthusiastic and motivated full time Leisure Assistant to join our dynamic team at Abergele Leisure Centre. This role involves working a flexible shift pattern including days, evenings and weekends, and is ideal for someone who enjoys variety and working with people.

What You Will Be Doing
As a Leisure Assistant, you will be at the heart of our busy and vibrant centre, helping to deliver a safe, clean and enjoyable experience for all users. Duties will include:

• Lifeguarding the swimming pool
• Welcoming and assisting customers
• Ensuring facilities are safe, clean and well presented
• Supporting sports clubs, fitness instructors and events
• Setting up and taking down equipment

Your working pattern will cover a mixture of daytime, evening and weekend shifts, with opportunities for enhanced pay rates where applicable.

About You
Do you enjoy variety, remain calm under pressure, and work well both independently and as part of a team?
You will have achieved, or be willing to work towards, the following qualifications:
• RLSS National Pool Lifeguard Qualification
• Safeguarding
• First Aid

Previous experience in leisure or a similar customer facing environment would be an advantage.
