Working closely with apprentices and employers, you'll monitor progress, deliver Functional Skills and sector-specific training, provide information, advice and guidance, and ensure learners achieve their qualifications within agreed timescales.

Main duties of the job

The role of a Learning and Development Coach Level 5 at Agincare involves supporting apprentices in their training journey by delivering tailored teaching, coaching, and assessments. This position requires managing a caseload of learners, ensuring they develop the necessary skills to achieve their qualifications. You will work closely with both apprentices and their employers, delivering functional skills and sector-specific training, and guiding them throughout their learning process. This role is primarily home-based but involves traveling across the South West and Midlands to conduct in-person training. Agincare values safeguarding, learner well-being, and inclusive education. You'll also support employer engagement, contribute to wider Learning & Development activities across Agincare, and champion safeguarding, wellbeing and inclusive learning at every stage.

While this role is primarily home-based, you'll enjoy travelling across our South West and Midlands services to deliver in-person training and assessments, building strong relationships with our teams.

About YouWe're looking for a passionate and organised learning professional with:

  • A Level 5 qualification in Health & Social Care or a related subject
  • English and Maths at Level 2 (or equivalent)
  • An Assessor qualification (A1 Level 3, TAQA or equivalent)
  • Experience delivering apprenticeships within Health & Social Care
  • Strong coaching, communication and organisational skills
  • A commitment to safeguarding, learner wellbeing and inclusive education
  • The ability to manage a caseload and build positive relationships with learners and employers
  • A proactive approach and ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle
