Are you passionate about improving the health and wellbeing of children and young people?
We are seeking a dedicated Specialist Community Public Health Nurse (SCPHN) School Nurse to work autonomously in delivering high-quality health surveillance, health promotion, and early intervention services for school-aged children. You will manage a caseload of school-age children and young people, providing support in areas including safeguarding, Children Looked After, immunisations, and emotional wellbeing. Working closely with families, schools, and partner agencies, you will identify and address unmet health needs, helping children achieve their full potential in education and life.
The successful candidate will be a proactive practitioner with excellent communication skills and a commitment to improving health outcomes for all school-age children and young people. Opportunities to support the supervision and development of students and colleagues are also available within the role.
