Active Neuro, our specialist division of Active Care Group, is transforming neurorehabilitation in the UK. We are looking for an experienced and motivated Senior Occupational Therapist to join our team at The Laurels in Lincoln on a full-time basis.
Main duties of the job
This is an exciting opportunity for an Occupational Therapist with experience in neurological rehabilitation and either previous experience, knowledge or a keen interest in Functional Neurological Disorder (FND) to play a key role in delivering high-quality, person-centred rehabilitation.
You will manage a defined caseload, undertaking specialist assessments, developing individualised treatment plans and delivering evidence-based interventions to support individuals in achieving their rehabilitation goals. Working closely with the multidisciplinary team, you will also contribute to the development of clinical practice and provide support and guidance to more junior colleagues.

Job description
Key Responsibilities
- Manage a defined caseload, undertaking comprehensive occupational therapy assessments and developing, implementing and reviewing individualised treatment plans.
- Deliver evidence-based, person-centred interventions to support individuals with FND, ABI and other complex neurological needs.
- Use appropriate occupational therapy assessment tools to monitor progress, evaluate outcomes and adapt interventions to meet individual needs.
- Work collaboratively as an active member of the multidisciplinary team (MDT), contributing to effective rehabilitation planning and the delivery of holistic care.
- Maintain accurate, timely and comprehensive clinical records, ensuring all interventions and patient outcomes are appropriately documented.
- Provide clinical guidance, supervision and support to junior colleagues, contributing to their professional development and the overall effectiveness of the therapy team.
- Promote a positive, therapeutic environment that supports independence, engagement and meaningful participation in daily activities.
- Participate in clinical supervision, reflective practice and ongoing professional development, ensuring practice remains in line with current clinical standards and organisational policies.
