Working closely with the Independent Chair, Board members and partner agencies, you will lead the development, implementation and monitoring of the Board's strategic priorities, ensuring that safeguarding arrangements remain effective, outcome-focused and responsive to local and national developments.

This is a highly collaborative role requiring the ability to work confidently with senior leaders from across health, social care, police, voluntary and community organisations. You will build and maintain strong partnerships, provide professional advice and challenge, and support agencies to work collectively towards improving outcomes for adults with care and support needs.

  • be passionate about continuous improvement and committed to ensuring safeguarding arrangements deliver the best possible outcomes for adults across York.

Our offer to you:

In return, this role offers an opportunity to make a significant contribution to safeguarding practice across the city, working with a wide range of partners to influence strategy, drive improvement and promote positive outcomes for some of the most vulnerable members of our communities.
