Digital Services EUC Logistics Support Technician - Band 3NHS
Job summary
We are looking for a motivated and customer-focused Logistics Support Technician to join our Digital Services team, supporting the delivery, deployment and lifecycle management of IT equipment across Lincolnshire Community and Hospitals NHS Group (LCHG).
This is a hands-on role that combines device deployment, equipment deliveries, stock management and customer support. You will play an important role in ensuring staff receive the right technology at the right time, supporting both day-to-day operations and major digital programmes.
Main duties of the job
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare, image, configure and deploy laptops, PCs and other digital devices.
- Deliver, collect and install IT equipment at locations across Lincolnshire.
- Maintain accurate inventory and asset records for deployed equipment.
- Coordinate and schedule equipment deliveries and collections to meet agreed service levels.
- Support equipment refresh, disposal and decommissioning activities.
- Provide technical assistance to customers and support teams during equipment deployments.
- Assist with audits, stock checks and continuous improvement activities within the logistics service.
- Work flexibly across Digital Services teams to support operational requirements when needed.

Lincolnshire Community Health Services NHS Trust (LCHS) and United Lincolnshire Hospitals NHS Trust (ULHT) have come together in a Group arrangement, with the goal of improving the care provided to patients across the county.
This will not constitute a formal merger of the two organisations, but will bring the Trusts together under a single Board and Executive Leadership Team, with the goal of improving the care that is provided to patients both in the community and in hospitals across Lincolnshire. Both Trusts will retain their separate statutory names and legal obligations.
The Group will be known as Lincolnshire Community and Hospitals NHS Group (LCHG).
