What you will bring to the role We are seeking an inspirational midwife who can bring energy, vision and strong leadership to our Delivery Suite team. The successful candidate will:

  • Demonstrate substantial experience within maternity services and a passion for intrapartum care.
  • Inspire and motivate teams to deliver exceptional patient-centred care.
  • Lead and support a large multidisciplinary workforce, fostering a positive and inclusive culture.
  • Drive quality improvement initiatives and promote evidence-based practice.
  • Support service development and implement innovative ways of working.
  • Be confident in managing workforce, resources and departmental budgets.
  • Champion staff wellbeing, professional development and education.
  • Work clinically when required through escalation
  • Demonstrate excellent communication, organisational and decision-making skills.
  • Act as a visible role model, embodying the values of The Leeds Way.
