Main duties of the job

What you will bring to the role

We are looking for a Registered Nurse or Midwife who is keen to develop their skills in project delivery, quality improvement and medicines management. The successful candidate will demonstrate:

  • Experience working in a clinical environment at Band 5 level or above.
  • An interest in medicines management, patient safety and improving clinical practice.
  • Experience of delivering or supporting education and training for healthcare staff.
  • Knowledge of clinical audit processes and an ability to support service improvement initiatives.
  • Confidence in presenting information and engaging with a range of staff groups.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • The ability to work independently whilst contributing effectively to a wider team.
  • Effective IT skills, including the use of Microsoft Office applications.
  • A flexible and proactive approach to supporting change across clinical services.
