Salaried GPGP Practice

Chineham Medical Practice is a forward-thinking GP surgery in Basingstoke looking to expand their clinical team. An opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic Salaried GP to join a dynamic and forward-thinking team. We welcome applicants at all stages of their GP career to join a cohesive and supportive clinical team.

The Practice

• Modern, progressive training and teaching practice with over 18,400 patients and a strong focus on personal development and staff wellbeing.
• Our clinical team includes 6 GP Partners, 7 Salaried GPs, Practice Nurses and HCAs.
• Part of a flourishing PCN encompassing a broad multidisciplinary team-you will work alongside clinical pharmacists, advanced nurse practitioners, first contact physiotherapists, care co-ordinators and social prescribers.
• Frailty team which includes a dedicated GP, dedicated specialist nurse, care coordinator and social prescriber.
• High QOF and ‘good CQC rating’.

Your Role

• 4-6 sessions per week (Wednesday & Friday preferred days, 2 sessions to be discussed over interview)
• Regular clinical meetings and daily coffee breaks.
• Mix of telephone and face to face appointments.
• 15-minute appointments for all routine appointments.
• Supportive of specialist interests and career development with continuous support from colleagues.
