Main duties of the job

Operose Health is seeking an Advanced Nurse Practitioner/Advanced Clinical Practitioner to join their team at the Summerfield Care Centre in Birmingham. This permanent position offers a salary range of £48,000 to £60,000, depending on experience. The role involves working 22 hours over two 11-hour shifts, including weekends. The main responsibilities include providing care for patients from initial history taking to evaluation of care, making clinical decisions, and working collaboratively with the general practice team. The ideal candidate should have experience in an urgent care setting, be NMC registered, have a minor injury and illness qualification, and possess a MSc ACP Qualification. Main Responsibilities: As a valued member of the Operose Health team, your key duties will include:

  • Provide care for presenting patient from initial history taking clinical assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and evaluation of care.
  • You must demonstrate safe, clinical decision-making and expert care, including assessment and diagnosis skills for patients within the general practice.
  • You will work collaboratively with the general practice team to meet the needs of the patients, supporting delivery of policy and procedures and providing nurse leadership as required.

Ideal Candidate: What we look for in new colleagues:

  • Experience in a Urgent Care Setting..
  • NMC registered nurse with advance clinical practice tor working towards non-medical prescriber.
  • Minor injury and illness qualification essential and the ability to maintain and monitor standards of care
  • Candidates must have a MSc ACP Qualification.
