Main duties of the job

We have an exciting opportunity to join our administration team as a Receptionist within the Dental Department at the Leeds Dental Institute. We are seeking a motivated, enthusiastic team player who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment. The appointed individual will provide administrative support to colleagues and the clinical team, and help to deliver a high standard of service. They will work within our patient reception, booking appointments, answering telephone calls and supporting patients to access and attend the service in an efficient manner. The suitable candidate should be a friendly, welcoming, and helpful representative of our department and the NHS. The candidate will work in the Dental department within a diverse, inclusive and collaborative team who are friendly and supportive. They will work closely with other members of our administrative team and also alongside the clinical team consisting of, consultants, specialist dentists, dental trainees, Dental Nurses and also our undergraduate department. A full induction and training will be provided with a period of mentorship to support introduction to a new role. The working hours for this post are Monday - Friday 08:30am - 17:00pm.
