We have an exciting opportunity for a Band 3 Research Administrator, working with the Core Research Team. The Core Research Team deliver research across multiple specialities, this includes, Endocrinology, Ophthalmology, Sexual Health & Burns to name a few. The portfolio has expanded significantly and delivers studies that examine new drugs and technologies through to observational and data studies.

Main duties of the job

The post holder will be a member of one of the many research teams based at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital one of the UHB sites and responsible for supporting the research staff.

They will be responsible for providing data management, and research administrative support, as needed for clinical study activities. The post holder will be expected to contribute to developing robust invoicing records for clinical trials and to ensure study income is recovered in a timely manner.

This will require the post holder to combine their excellent IT knowledge with knowledge of the clinical research process. The post holder will require excellent communication skills and will need to be able to demonstrate an ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines.
