Main duties of the job

Your Day in the Life of a Healthcare Assistant:

As a Healthcare Assistant at HealthHarmonie, you will play a vital role in supporting our services and ensuring a high-quality patient experience across our clinics.

Working within our Dermatology, Gynaecology, ENT, Ophthalmology and Urology services across Norfolk, you will work closely with clinicians and administrative teams, ensuring all patient records and data are handled accurately and efficiently.

In addition, you will enhance the patient journey by delivering a welcoming and professional experience, carrying out GDPR and relevant health and safety checks, and supporting the smooth running of clinic operations. You will assist with appointment coordination and ensure all clinical areas meet strict infection control standards to provide a safe environment for both patients and staff.

Your contribution will be essential in delivering an efficient, compassionate, and patient-focused service.

Please note our service operates seven days a week. This role requires flexibility to work across Monday to Sunday, with shifts scheduled in line with service requirements.

Job description

Location Norfolk:

This is a mobile role covering clinic locations across Norfolk. While your primary clinic locations will be within the region, occasional travel to other clinic sites may be required to support service delivery.

Department: Dermatology, Gynaecology, ENT, Ophthalmology and Urology

Requirements:

  • Must have a full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle
  • Strong attention to detail, particularly when capturing and handling patient data
  • Confident using IT systems and digital platforms
  • Previous healthcare or administrative experience is desirable but not essential
  • A passion for delivering high-quality patient care and taking pride in your work
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work flexibly across multiple clinic locations

You will be enrolled on our comprehensive training programme from day one, which will equip you with the knowledge and technical skills required for the role.

The Role Details:

  • Contract Type: Full-Time, Fixed-Term Contract until April 2027
  • Hours: 40 hours per week (including travel time)
  • Working Pattern: Monday to Sunday
  • Salary: £27,144 - £28,641 per annum pro rata
