Job summary

As a Locality Co-ordinator you will have knowledge of your locality, it's needs, and the services within the geographical area. You will be encouraged to utilise your expertise in new ways to support the wellbeing of people in the community, and develop your skills. You will work in a key role supporting students, facilitators, and coordinating the Recovery and Wellbeing College course delivery alongside an innovative team.

This role includes hybrid, home based work using digital technology. This post is part time (up to 30 hrs/week).

You will be required to travel to community and NHS venues in Kent & Medway.

Main duties of the job

  • To co-ordinate and facilitate the virtual Recovery and Wellbeing College provision.
  • To enhance student experience by compassionate communication.
  • To enhance co-facilitator experience by providing high quality support and supervision.
  • To coordinate and create the prospectus, and promote across localities.
  • To coordinate administration tasks and liaise with partners and venues.
  • To manage enrolments, independent learning plans, registers, facilitator absence, and course cover.

Job description

This role supports people to take control of their own recovery journey, enabling transitions across, out of and beyond services.

We embed recovery-focused language and a culture of co-production, shared learning and strength-based approaches, creating safe spaces and recovery-focused opportunities. The role provides students with learning experiences which promote self-care, recovery, and wellbeing.

As a Locality Coordinator you will have knowledge of your locality, its needs, and the services within the geographical area. You will work in a key role co-facilitating courses, supporting students, facilitators, and coordinating course delivery alongside an innovative team. The role includes managing people with lived expertise of facing and overcoming mental health challenges, and engaging external stakeholders.
